What makes a good user experience (UX) mentorship program and where can I find one?

There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on the individual organization's goals and needs. However, some key elements of a good UX mentorship program include:

  • A focus on both the theoretical and practical aspects of UX design
  • A variety of learning opportunities, including lectures, workshops, and one-on-one sessions
  • A mentor pool that includes experienced professionals as well as early-career designers
  • A supportive and collaborative environment that encourages creativity and experimentation

There are a number of organizations that offer UX mentorship programs, such as the AIGA, the UX Alliance, and the Interaction Design Association.
Some additional things to consider when looking for a UX mentorship program are the cost, location, and length of the program. Also, be sure to read reviews and ask for feedback from past participants to get a sense of what the program is like.

CRO & UX are a big field, it can be difficult to know where to start 🤔

Most of the guides out there are either too long, too short, or generalize things so much that they do not help you at all.

My free workbook will help you create your own plan for CRO success by showing you how other companies have done it successfully and what went wrong with their strategy to learn from their mistakes. The book is free, as I believe knowledge should be shared! The book has already helped several companies.
