What are the goals of UX design?

There are a few goals of UX design, which include making a product easy and enjoyable to use, helping users achieve their goals, and reducing friction.

Making a product easy to use is one of the main goals of UX design. This means creating a product that is intuitive and easy to navigate. Users should be able to find what they're looking for quickly and easily. This can be achieved through good design principles, such as using consistent layouts and keeping the interface simple.

Another goal of UX design is helping users achieve their goals. This means designing a product that meets the needs of the user. For example, a user might need to purchase a product online. The UX designer would need to ensure that the checkout process is easy to understand and that all the necessary information is readily available.

Finally, reducing friction is another goal of UX design. Friction is anything that gets in the way of the user achieving their goal. For example, a long and complicated checkout process would be considered friction. UX designers try to reduce friction by simplifying processes and making things more streamlined.

CRO & UX are a big field, it can be difficult to know where to start 🤔

Most of the guides out there are either too long, too short, or generalize things so much that they do not help you at all.

My free workbook will help you create your own plan for CRO success by showing you how other companies have done it successfully and what went wrong with their strategy to learn from their mistakes. The book is free, as I believe knowledge should be shared! The book has already helped several companies.
