What is the difference between UX and UI?

The terms UX and UI are often used interchangeably, but there is a subtle difference between the two. UX (user experience) refers to the overall experience that a user has when using a product, while UI (user interface) refers to the specific interface elements that a user interacts with.

A good UX is essential for any product, as it determines how easy and enjoyable it is to use. A poor UX can make a product frustrating and difficult to use, even if the UI is well-designed. Conversely, a good UI can make a product more enjoyable to use, even if the UX is not perfect.

Ideally, both UX and UI should be given equal importance to create a product that is both easy and enjoyable to use. However, in practice, it is often difficult to achieve this balance.

CRO & UX are a big field, it can be difficult to know where to start 🤔

Most of the guides out there are either too long, too short, or generalize things so much that they do not help you at all.

My free workbook will help you create your own plan for CRO success by showing you how other companies have done it successfully and what went wrong with their strategy to learn from their mistakes. The book is free, as I believe knowledge should be shared! The book has already helped several companies.
