How do you go about solving UX problems?

There's no one right way to solve a UX problem. The best approach depends on the specific problem you're trying to solve, your company's culture and resources, and the timeline you're working with.

That said, there are some common steps you can take to solve most UX problems.

1. Define the problem.

Before you can solve a problem, you need to clearly define what the problem is. This might seem like a no-brainer, but it's important to get everyone on the same page about what the problem is and what needs to be done to solve it.

2. Gather data.

Once you've defined the problem, it's time to start gathering data. This can be done through user research, surveys, analytics, and other data gathering methods. The goal is to get a clear picture of what's happening and why it's happening.

3. Generate ideas.

Now that you have a good understanding of the problem, it's time to start generating ideas for how to solve it. This is where creativity and outside-the-box thinking comes in. Brainstorming with a team can be a great way to generate a variety of ideas.

4. Prototype and test.

Once you've generated some potential solutions, it's time to start prototyping and testing them. This will help you figure out which solution is the best fit for the problem.

5. Implement the solution.

After you've identified the best solution, it's time to implement it. This might involve designing and building a new product or feature, or making changes to an existing one.

6. Evaluate the results.

Once you've implemented the solution, it's important to evaluate the results to see if it's actually solving the problem. If not, you might need to go back to the drawing board and try a different approach.

CRO & UX are a big field, it can be difficult to know where to start 🤔

Most of the guides out there are either too long, too short, or generalize things so much that they do not help you at all.

My free workbook will help you create your own plan for CRO success by showing you how other companies have done it successfully and what went wrong with their strategy to learn from their mistakes. The book is free, as I believe knowledge should be shared! The book has already helped several companies.
